Design

Do the math. A ~$40 kit that lasts five years is about 2 cents a day. A ~$25 kit that rusts in two months is a ~$25 lesson. I've bought the cheap kit. I've scrubbed rust off spatulas with steel wool. Never again.

If you're on a tight budget and you're not sure you'll stick with flat top cooking, the HaSteeL 20Pcs kit is a fine starting point. Just know you'll be upgrading within a year. And if someone offers you a 238-piece kit, run the other way. You don't need 238 pieces. You need 29 good ones.
